The V Foundation’s Call to Action

Take a second and think of a type of cancer that has touched you. There’s a very good chance that The V Foundation has funded research specifically for that cancer type. While larger amounts have certainly gone to some of the most deadly and common cancers, such as lung cancer and leukemia, grants have been issued to fund cancers across the board. A small sampling would include colon, cervical, and pancreatic cancer but would not exclude Ewing’s Sarcoma or breast and prostate cancer.

True to Jim’s final wish, we want to find a cure for all cancers. That means that funding all types of cancer research is necessary. That means that funding cancer research across the board isn’t only a desire of ours, rather, it’s essential to The V Foundation’s call to action.
