Easy Solution for Dinner in NC!
Don’t feel like cooking tonight? Located in North Carolina? Perfect. We have an answer for you. Between March 7-April 2, Applebee’s will be raising money for The V Foundation for Cancer Research, specifically donating to cancer research for pediatrics at Duke Children’s Hospital.
Last year, the Apple Gold Group, owner of more than 40 Applebee’s locations in North Carolina, donated $210,000 to The V Foundation. This year, their goal is $270,000. The money that they raise goes to pediatric cancer research at Duke Children’s Hospital.
If you go to Applebee’s you will be invited to donate $1 or more to The V Foundation for Cancer Research and for every $1 donated you will receive a paper basketball to personalize and hang in the restaurant. The basketballs represent different local universities including Duke, UNC, NC State, Wake Forest and ECU.
“We are honored to continue our work with The V Foundation as our organization’s ‘charity of choice’ and are proud to support its goal to raise money for cancer research,” said Michael Olander, President and CEO of Apple Gold Group.
Thanks Applebee’s for making my dinner an easy choice, and maybe yours too!
