The 14th Annual V Foundation Wine Celebration Announces Raffle for 2013 Bentley

Drawing to Take Place During Celebration in Napa Valley

The 14th Annual V Foundation Wine Celebration, one of the signature fundraising events for The V Foundation for Cancer Research, is excited to announce this year’s event will include a raffle for a 2013 Bentley Continental GT Coupe, or comparable Bentley convertible model (Continental GTC), valued at approximately $200,000. The V Foundation Wine Celebration will be held on August 3 and 4 in Napa Valley, California.  Legendary College Football Hall of Fame Coach and ESPN Studio Analyst Lou Holtz and his wife, Beth, will host this year’s celebration.

In addition to the drawing for the 2013 Bentley Continental GT Coupe, a second prize drawing will offer the winner a Bentley Motors Signature Experience Package at the Pebble Beach Concours d’ Elegance event in 2013.  Bentley Motors will host two guests in luxury accommodations at the Inn at Spanish Bay with exclusive access to events and dinner during the winner’s four night stay, for an estimated value of more than $10,000.  The V Foundation Wine Celebration will offer just 325 tickets for the raffle for $1,000 each.  The drawings will be held on August 4, 2012 at The V Foundation Wine Celebration’s Gala Dinner and Live Auction at Nickel & Nickel Winery.  Net proceeds from the event will fund cancer research projects in California through The V Foundation for Cancer Research. You need not be present to win.

The V Foundation Wine Celebration weekend will kick off with a wine tasting at PRIDE Mountain Vineyards and a welcome party at The Pavilion at The Vintage Estates on Friday, August 3, 2012.  The event will feature a silent, super silent and barrel auction, food from the region’s top chefs, handcrafted wines and an art gallery showcasing local artist Jessel Miller.  On Saturday, August 4, the Cancer Research Symposium will include discussion and Q&A sessions with The V Foundation’s Scientific Advisory Board, comprised of some of the nation’s leading physicians and research scientists from prominent universities and cancer centers.  The Gala Dinner & Live Auction on Saturday evening will be hosted at Nickel & Nickel Winery and feature a motivational speech from legendary football coach and ESPN Studio Analyst Lou Holtz.  The weekend will conclude with a private performance from American rock musician and singer-songwriter Chris Isaak.  Tickets for the full weekend of events are $2,500, with single day tickets also available.
