2012 Annual Report– A must-read, seriously!
I probably lost the majority of viewers the second they saw the title of this blog post. For those of you sweet souls who have stuck it out with me and are still reading, I know exactly you’re thinking: “Oh good, another endless, jargon-filled novel of things I don’t understand nor will ever be relevant to me.” But see, this is just not true!
In fact, our 2012 Annual Report is only eleven pages long! I believe that easily falls under the “light reading” category. Don’t get me wrong, just because we believe in brevity does not mean this report isn’t worth reading. Here are a few things to check out:
- Page 6-7: Take a look at the updated Board of Directors. We are so excited about Eric Lautenbach, John Skipper and Larry Woodard’s addition to our team.
- Page 8: David and Helen Piwnica-Worms join our new scientific advisory board. So many fresh faces for The V Foundation!
- Page 11: In addition to our current financial position, take a look at the last 18 years of grant distributions by both state and cancer site!
Is your curiosity sparked just a tad? If so, check out the full version here! The V Foundation relies on all of you, and we want to keep you posted! Take a look at what each of you made possible and how, as one team, we are fighting to provide hope and save lives through cancer research!
