Trevor Moawad Memorial Cancer Research Fund

"Thinking about all 26.2 miles is overwhelming. Thinking about the next few steps is manageable.” – Trevor Moawad

Trevor Moawad was a sports psychologist and best-selling author who helped shape the mindset of world-class athletes, CEOs, military leaders and various sports and business organizations. He wanted to help others unlock their potential by improving their focus and ability to deal with distractions. Trevor passed away in September 2021, after a two-year battle with cancer.

In the U.S., 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Honor the life and legacy of Trevor Moawad by supporting the Trevor Moawad Memorial Cancer Research Fund. 100% of donations support game-changing research funded by the V Foundation.

Like Jim Valvano, Trevor was such a positive and motivating person. He taught us to tackle our problems by getting our mind in the right place. As athletes, we’re used to conditioning our bodies, but Trevor helped us condition our brains. The world lost a bright light when Trevor passed away. But again, like Jim, his legacy will help others facing cancer.
