V Foundation 25th Anniversary

The V Foundation has spent 25 years funding excellence in research. As we work for Victory Over Cancer®, we’ll grow the silver linings around the dark cloud that cancer brings. Because of a competitive grant-making model and funding only the most promising research, we’re changing the landscape of cancer.

Throughout 2018, we’ll be sharing our 25 for 25 video series and 25th Anniversary blog series, which will highlight the importance of cancer research to important V Foundation supporters.

Silver Linings Essay Contest

Every cloud has a silver lining. Even very dark clouds, like cancer. As part of our Silver Linings 25th Anniversary, we asked over 300 V Scholars to tell us about their silver linings related to cancer, from their work or personal experience. Dr. Je Lee of Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory submitted the winning entry.

Je Lee, M.D., Ph.D, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory
