The V Foundation for Cancer Research and Valette Wines partner to support cancer research focused on firefighters. Based in Healdsburg, California, Valette Wines is led by Chef-Vintner Dustin Valette.
The partnership has a personal connection for Dustin, whose father, Bob “Pops” Valette, spent 47 years flying for California’s fire service. Through his father’s career, Dustin developed an appreciation for the work of firefighters and the health risks they can face, including increased cancer risk associated with exposure to carcinogens in the line of duty. The V Foundation’s Firefighter Cancer Research Fund supports research focused on preventing and treating cancers that disproportionately affect firefighters.
Through December 31, 2026, Valette Wines will donate 10% of sales from new customers to the V Foundation’s Firefighter Cancer Research Fund. Customers can use code V10 at checkout on Valette Wines’ website to participate.
