Coury Shadyac

Chief Development Officer

Coury Shadyac serves as the Chief Development Officer of the V Foundation, where she leads a team of fundraisers fueling game-changing research and funding top scientists. The Development Team is responsible for building a sustainable future for V Foundation through signature events, philanthropic commitments, and planned giving.

Coury has almost 20 years of nonprofit development experience and loves working at the intersection of philanthropy, healthcare, technology, and sports. Prior to joining the V Foundation, she served as the Senior Vice President of the Territories for ALSAC, the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She has served on taskforces shaping organizational culture and retention, developing new enterprise lead management systems, and revamping onboarding and training experiences.

Prior to her role as Senior Vice President of Territories, Coury held numerous positions at ALSAC, including Vice President of the Pacific Territory and Executive Director. Preceding ALSAC in 2016, she served as the Managing Director of Development at Teach For America in Washington D.C. Coury earned her bachelor’s degree from the College of William and Mary in Middle East Studies and Religion and her MBA from the University of Washington.
