As another Mother’s Day comes, this day brings a lot of emotion. It can be a day of celebration, a day of reflection and a day of remembrance. We recognize that cancer impacts moms and families in many different ways.

In honor of Mother’s Day, we want to share three stories of friends of the V Foundation – Kara Bonneau, Jessica Brown and Stacy Ayers.

All three of these women and their families have been impacted by cancer in ways they never would have imagined. One thing they have in common is the desire to support cancer research through sharing their stories.

Kara Bonneau

Kara is gearing up for her fifth Victory Ride this May in honor of her mom, Ann, who passed away 10 years ago during her third battle with cancer.

Diagnosed with breast cancer as a young mom with a three year old and a nine month old, Jessica’s kids and family motivated and served as inspiration in her battle.
