Held March 26–29, the event brought together Sonoma County’s most renowned chefs, wineries, and passionate supporters for a weekend of impact, with 100% of event proceeds going directly into the labs of top scientists at prominent cancer centers nationwide. Since its debut in 2022, Sonoma Epicurean has raised nearly $17 million.

Broome steps into the role following Clark Kinlin, who has served as Interim CEO of the V Foundation since July 2025. On March 16, Kinlin will continue his service to the V Foundation by returning to the Board of Directors, resuming the seat he held previously for the organization.
We are deeply saddened by the passing of a true broadcasting legend and a foundational part of our V Foundation family, Geoffrey Mason. A Hall of Fame production executive and winner of 24 Emmy Awards, Geoff’s influence on sports television was unmatched.
Cary, NC (January 16, 2026) – The V Foundation for Cancer Research’s endurance sports fundraising program, “Team V,” wrapped an exciting year, raising more than $680,000 in 2025 and surpassing $5.5 million for groundbreaking cancer research since the program’s start in 2014.
This success was highlighted during a historic 2025, where 135 Team V athletes participated in endurance races around the globe, all benefiting the V Foundation’s mission to fund all-star scientists and accelerate Victory Over Cancer®. Of note, this year saw the highest number of Team V participants and fundraising totals for both the Berlin and Chicago marathon teams.
New York, NY (Dec. 11, 2025) – The 5th Anniversary of the V Foundation for Cancer Research Boo-Yah Gala & Auction, held December 9-10 in New York City, announced more than $3.1 million raised to address disparities in cancer research. This event funds research grants through the V Foundation’s Stuart Scott Memorial Cancer Research Fund to advance equity in cancer research, outcomes and care. Over $22.1 million has been awarded across 64 grant awards to exceptional scientists since the fund’s establishment in 2015.
