University of Kentucky Groundhogs Day Barcrawl

The University of Kentucky Groundhog Day Bar Crawl was founded in 2024 by a group of students looking to create a fun, memorable way to celebrate the weekend with friends. Since then, the event has grown each year, and for the 3rd Annual Crawl, we’re proud to donate proceeds from shirt sales to The V Foundation. Groundhog Day may be an under-appreciated holiday, but bringing people together for a night out across multiple bars has become a tradition we look forward to. This year using that tradition to help fight the battle against cancer makes it even more meaningful. We believe this event is the perfect way for students to support an incredible cause while enjoying the college experience and doing what they’d already be doing on a weekend night. Join us, help us reach our fundraising goals, and have an unforgettable night while making a real impact.

Northeast Dubois Boys Basketball

The Northeast Dubois Boys Basketball Team is coming together to become victorious over cancer. The team is spreading awareness about the V Foundation by involving athletes, students, and community members so we can end cancer together!

RAIDERS FOR RESEARCH III

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page! The SHS Breast Cancer Awareness Club, alongside the Scarsdale Boys and Girls basketball programs, is proud to once again support the V Foundation for Cancer Research. This organization is dedicated to declaring Victory Over Cancer®, and the research they fund plays a vital role in advancing cancer treatments and finding a cure. By contributing to this cause, your donation will support innovative, carefully vetted research at leading cancer centers across the country. Will you join Scarsdale in its third annual fundraiser to fight cancer? Every donation counts, and together we can make a difference. Thank you for your support!

Brewer Family 16th Annual Hot Chocolate Stand

We are having our hot chocolate stand again in our driveway at 5207 Melbourne Rd, Raleigh. All proceeds will go to The V Foundation toward cancer research. This is in memory of my sister, Liz, who passed away in June from cancer and to honor my struggle with breast cancer this year. We were diagnosed the same week. The day I found out I was clear of cancer is the day my sister died. Jim Valvano was an excellent example of never giving up as NC State Basketball coach and cancer patient. We want to fund cancer research and hope you will come and donate! Even as college kids and teens they want to have it. We will slowly make the hot chocolate on the stove and have whipped cream, marshmallows and candy to enjoy. It is a fun time for kids and adults!
