We are having our hot chocolate stand again in our driveway at 5207 Melbourne Rd, Raleigh. All proceeds will go to The V Foundation toward cancer research. This is in memory of my sister, Liz, who passed away in June from cancer and to honor my struggle with breast cancer this year. We were diagnosed the same week. The day I found out I was clear of cancer is the day my sister died. Jim Valvano was an excellent example of never giving up as NC State Basketball coach and cancer patient. We want to fund cancer research and hope you will come and donate! Even as college kids and teens they want to have it. We will slowly make the hot chocolate on the stove and have whipped cream, marshmallows and candy to enjoy. It is a fun time for kids and adults!

Running Fast for a Cause

Our fundraiser is a virtual 5K run/walk/activity event in support of the V Foundation for Cancer Research, an organization dedicated to achieving Victory Over Cancer®. Participants can complete the 5K in any way that works for them – running, walking, hiking, or engaging in their preferred physical activity – at their chosen time and location. This inclusive format allows anyone to join in, promote wellness, and contribute to a meaningful cause. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the V Foundation to help advance groundbreaking cancer research and support those impacted by cancer.

Give Back Night at Nightingale Rooftop Restaurant & Bar

We donate 10% of all revenue generated at our restaurant on the first Wednesday of each month to our charity of the month. We also donate $1 for each of our ‘drink of the month’ ordered to the charity of the month as well.

V Foundation Unlimited Hydroplane Campaign

In 2026, Brent Hall will take the helm of an Unlimited Hydroplane at Seattle’s iconic Seafair, turning speed into purpose. This special race will double as a fundraiser for the V Foundation for Cancer Research, channeling the roar of the turbine power hydroplanes into hope and discovery. Fans and partners alike are invited to join the movement—where every lap on the water helps fuel the fight against cancer.
