Sheep for Shepherd

I’m taking a long walk to end cancer! While my brother’s journey was quite public, my father’s battle has been private. He was diagnosed with Stage 4 prostate cancer the day before my brother died. He’s responding well to treatment, but it’s been a long five months. I decided to do something BIG for myself and have committed to hike the Cotswold way 102 miles end to end! I will be on the trail 10 days- from May 22-May 31. I thought- why not use it as a fundraiser as well!!! Since most of the hike is through sheep farms- my fundraiser page is Sheep for Shepherd!!! I came up with two options I thought might be fun: – Per mile on the hike- it’s about 102 miles so $.25= 25.50, $1 = $102 – Per sheep I see on the trail 🐑🐑. As counted by me Every dollar helps!!!

Wendy’s 1 day – 33 mile walk

This is my 3rd DIY Fundraiser for the V Foundation! The past 2 years have been on a bike, this year I am walking! Did you know that a 25 mile walk is similar to a 100 mile bike ride? I am walking 33 miles!

Team Tyla

As the daughter of a cancer survivor, I would not be here without the advancements of cancer research. I am thankful for the research grants awarded by the V Foundation. Join my team as we fight to end cancer!
