Randy Moss Accepts First Stuart Scott IMPACT Award

An annual signature event, the V Foundation for Cancer Research Boo-Yah honors the life and legacy of late ESPN commentator Stuart Scott. Funds from the event benefit the Stuart Scott Memorial Cancer Research Fund through the V Foundation, which supports research focused on racial disparities in cancer outcomes as well as general cancer research led by scientists from unrepresented backgrounds.
One of the most powerful moments during the 5th Anniversary Boo-Yah Gala in December 2025 was when Stuart’s daughters, Taelor and Sydni Scott, presented the inaugural Stuart Scott IMPACT Award to Pro Football Hall of Famer and ESPN Analyst Randy Moss. A cancer thriver and passionate advocate, Randy spoke openly about his cancer journey, the lasting impression Stuart Scott left on him, and the responsibility we all share in advocating for underserved communities. His dedication and courage truly captured the heart of Stuart’s legacy.
